Operator and contact

projectdiablo.com is an independent fan guide operated by the site publisher, not Blizzard Entertainment or the Project Diablo 2 team. For privacy requests or corrections, email [email protected].

Messages sent to this address pass through Cloudflare Email Routing to the site’s mail-hub mailbox. We use the sender address and message content to read and respond to your request. Do not send game passwords, payment details or account recovery credentials. This site does not offer user accounts.

Default loading, Reject and Global Privacy Control

Without a saved choice, the analytics, recording and ad scripts are requested immediately and the banner remains visible. Before Google configuration, Consent Mode v2 defaults ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization to denied, and analytics_storage to granted. ads_data_redaction is enabled. Clicking Accept updates all four signals to granted.

Reject saves rejected, updates all four Google consent signals to denied, sends denied storage signals to Clarity, removes ad frames, and reloads this page. The new document requests no Google Analytics, Clarity, Adsterra or YouTube player code. This disposes code already running in the old document; it cannot undo a request already sent. Videos open on the external YouTube website after rejection.

A Global Privacy Control signal is treated as rejection before vendor scripts are loaded. Accept after rejection reloads the page to enable the loaders. Cookie settings in the footer always lets you change the choice.

Storage on this site

pd2_consent_v1 in localStorage holds your granted or rejected choice and an expiry 180 days after you make it. A visit without a choice does not save an Accept decision. pd2_socialbar_closed remembers that you closed the floating ad and has no automatic expiry. Clearing data for this site removes these preferences.

Google Analytics may use _ga cookies; Clarity may use _clck and _clsk and Microsoft identifiers. Adsterra and video providers may also use cookies or storage on their own origins. Exact vendor names, durations and behavior can change; we have not measured a complete cookie inventory or verified property retention settings. Reject disables future vendor loading on this site and does not erase cookies held by another origin.

Google Analytics 4

Measurement ID G-BVVFYQYC78. The browser requests www.googletagmanager.com for gtag.js and www.google-analytics.com for measurement. Analytics can receive page URLs, referrers, browser/device information and network information. We use the resulting reports to understand guide usage. It loads by default and Reject disables its loader.

Provider information: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Google also offers its opt-out add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. We do not publish an unverified data-retention setting.

Microsoft Clarity

Project z4m83bqcfv. The entry script is www.clarity.ms; the provider can use scripts.clarity.ms and collection hosts under clarity.ms. Clarity supports session recordings and interaction reports such as clicks and scrolling. These can contain page content and interaction information. It loads by default; Reject disables loading after the reload.

Masking and provider processing are governed by the project settings and Microsoft documentation; we do not promise that all collected information is anonymous.

Adsterra advertising and observed delivery hosts

Adsterra publisher 3403020, website 6156429. The active placements are Native Banner 31961608 and Social Bar 31961609. Both entry scripts load by default from bicea.org. The declared seller in /ads.txt is adsterra.com, publisher 3403020. Reject disables both placements after reloading.

Browser checks on 28 October 2026 also observed Adsterra delivery resources at static.nresystems.com, cdn.show-sb.com, cdn.show-creative1.com and cdn.cloudpiko.com. These are contacted through the ad code, not through an extra analytics integration. They can receive network/browser information and identifiers used for ad delivery, frequency control and measurement. The delivered creative and resource host can vary by visit and location; these observations are not a promise of a fixed ad supply chain.

YouTube, fonts and external links

Video thumbnails are bundled files served from this site. Merely reading a page does not request i.ytimg.com or a YouTube player. Pressing Play loads youtube-nocookie.com, which can contact Google/YouTube delivery services and process your network and playback information. With a rejected choice the control opens youtube.com externally instead. Google’s privacy policy applies to playback.

Cinzel and Source Sans 3 fonts are bundled here; there are no requests to Google Fonts. Ordinary source links contact their destination only when followed. Cloudflare handles site delivery and the contact email route. There is no chat widget or other direct analytics integration in the shipped site.

Requests and updates

Email [email protected] to request access, correction or deletion of correspondence you sent us, or to raise an objection about processing. We may need information to identify the message concerned. For identifiers held only by an external provider, use that provider’s privacy controls as well.
