Where it actually runs
Platforms besides a Windows PC
Project Diablo 2 ships a Windows launcher that expects a legal Diablo II and Lord of Destruction folder. The Support FAQ documents Linux and Steam Deck. It has no Mac section and no Android section. Everything else on this hub is a community route, not a second official download.
I split “the FAQ mentions it” from “a person posted a working setup.” Steam Deck and Linux are in the first pile. Mac and Android are in the second. I am not going to write that the PD2 team supports a phone because a launcher exists on someone else’s GitHub.

Controllers are native. That question is not “does it work.” It is “where are the settings.” The controller page covers the Season 11 menu and the Season 14 aim toggle.

Questions
Is there a PS5 or console build?
No. The installer is for a Windows copy of classic Diablo II and Lord of Destruction.
Will the team ban a Steam Deck?
The rules I read do not mention Steam Deck. I will not invent a ban, and I will not invent permission either. The FAQ’s own Deck section is the closest thing to a documented path.
