Boss routes

Ubers, torches, and the Ancients

Hellfire Torch drops when the final prime evil in Uber Tristram dies, alongside a separate Black Soulstone. Black Soulstone is an ingredient for Diablo Clone access, not a Torch exchange token. Hell Ancients are the Act 5 quest; Uber Ancients are a separate sigil encounter. Ancients’ Pledge is a shield runeword.

The wiki Uber Tristram and Recipes pages document the access items. Hiim’s separately authored Season 13 boss guide confirms that Black Soulstone drops with the Torch and is an ingredient for Vision of Terror. The ingredients’ exact drop rates remain single-source/unverified. Hiim labels the guide Season 13, so its combat thresholds are not presented as Season 14 measurements. The detailed organ and sigil recipes below are currently single-source wiki instructions.

Torch path, from the wiki

Collect Mephisto’s Brain, Diablo’s Horn and Baal’s Eye from the mini-ubers, then cube the three organs into a Pandemonium Talisman. Use it by the blood fountain in Hell Harrogath to access Uber Tristram. Defeat all three prime evils for the Hellfire Torch and Black Soulstone.

The wiki describes an initial entry plus three single-use silver portals for re-entry while enemies remain. A Black Soulstone combines with Prime Evil Soul and Pure Demonic Essence into Vision of Terror for Diablo Clone. Do not consume the wrong access item.

Do not mix these names

Hell Ancients: the quest you must beat to reach Baal. Uber Ancients: cube Sigil of Madawc, Sigil of Talic and Sigil of Korlic into Relic of the Ancients for that separate encounter. Ancients’ Pledge: Ral Ort Tal in a three-socket shield. Diablo Clone, Rathma, and Lucion show up in JuxtAPoser’s Bossing 101 video (upload date not independently verified). Hiim’s written boss page still says Season 13. Use the Season 14 uber chapter before you trust a damage number from either of those.
