Versus classic 1.13
Runewords PD2 added or changed
Old players want the diff, not the whole dictionary. The wiki splits that job. New Runewords lists words that were not in Lord of Destruction 1.13. The main Runewords table is where a familiar word can still have different stats. “New” does not mean “new in Resurrected.”
I almost compared PD2 to D2R and stopped. The New Runewords header is explicit about the 1.13 baseline. A word you farmed in Resurrected might already exist here under different numbers, or not exist. I check both pages before I call something exclusive.
Two different diffs
Use the right page or you will socket the wrong base.
| Question | Page |
|---|---|
| Was this word in LoD 1.13? | New Runewords |
| What is the rune order and level today? | Runewords table |
| Is this a D2R word? | Do not assume. Look up the name on the PD2 table |
| What should I make while leveling? | Leveling runewords on this site |
Why the count is fuzzy
A research pass counted more than 100 required-level rows on the main table. That includes edited classic words and new ones. I am not splitting that count into “exclusive versus changed” without a second full export. Open New Runewords for the exclusive set and read the level on the main row before you spend a high rune.

Questions
Did PD2 add runewords Resurrected also added?
Sometimes the names match and the items do not. The baseline on the wiki is 1.13. Compare the row, not your memory of a D2R ladder.
Where is Ancients’ Pledge?
It is a three-socket shield word, Ral Ort Tal, on the main table. It is not an uber fight.
