Season 14 class changes

People searching “changes smite” and “barbarian changes” want the Season 14 patch lines, not a vibe. The lines below are copied in meaning from Patch:Season 14. Hiim’s tier movement is a second source and is labeled as such.

I went down the paladin and barbarian blocks on the patch page and only then opened Hiim. Hiim’s extra note that Multiple Shot loses 20% damage per pierce is not in the official notes. I am not folding that into the official list.

Smite and the rest of the paladin

Smite is the skill the search volume is actually about. The patch page lists three mechanical changes, then a handful of other paladin lines.

  • Smite desync fixes. Melee splash radius +20%. Smite now leeches life and mana.
  • Blessed Hammer passes through walls.
  • Fist of the Heavens holy bolts pierce, all of them deal damage, and next-hit delay is 3 frames.
  • Concentration’s uninterruptible chance goes from 20% to 15%, plus 1% per 3 levels.
  • Thorns can stack a second Open Wounds.
  • Sacrifice costs a flat 3% of maximum life, per the patch page as Hiim summarized it. Read the patch if you are assigning points tonight.

Barbarian

Hiim still lists two-hand Whirlwind as a top clearer after the cut, and says one-hand and Frenzy gained relative to it. That judgment is Hiim’s, sampled 25 October 2026.

  • Two-hand mastery: base enhanced damage 45% to 40%, per level 15% to 10%, crushing blow efficiency 10–25 to 5–20.
  • One-hand mastery critical cap 35% to 45%.
  • Leap Attack enhanced damage per level 15% to 18%, synergy 10% to 14%.
  • Natural Resistance all-res cap 75% to 65%.
  • War Cry cannot be cast while shapeshifted.
  • Concentrate splash becomes magic. Whirlwind base enhanced damage 40% to 20%, per level 6% to 5%, two-hand attack speed 5 frames to 6.
