Frames on the sheet

Breakpoints, without an addon

The search “addon that shows breakpoints” is a Diablo II: Resurrected question. In Project Diablo 2 the advanced character page shows the breakpoints. The wiki Breakpoints article is the frame table behind that sheet. You do not install a second tool to see them.

I read the wiki’s frame examples and stopped before inventing a cast table for every skill. The page says the game runs its tables at 25 frames per second, and it gives Faster Cast Rate as 9 frames at 100% and 8 frames at 105%. That pair is the example. Your class may differ. The sheet is the check.

Where to look in game

Open the character screen and switch to the advanced page the wiki describes. Faster Cast Rate, Faster Hit Recovery, Faster Block Rate, and attack speed show up there. If a build video quotes a frame, confirm it on that page for your weapon type. Two-hand and one-hand do not share a row. Season 14 changed two-hand Whirlwind from 5 frames to 6.

The only chart image on the wiki breakpoints article is a magic-find diminishing-returns graph, not the frame table. I am showing it so you do not confuse magic find with cast rate.

What not to install

D2R breakpoint overlays, loot-filter addons from other mods, and “PD2 breakpoint dll” downloads are not on the Support FAQ. The sheet is the supported view. If the sheet and a website disagree, believe the sheet and then the wiki table for your weapon class.

Questions

What is the addon that shows breakpoints?

In PD2 there isn’t one to install. The advanced character page shows them. The addon question belongs to Resurrected.

Is 105% Faster Cast Rate always 8 frames?

That is the wiki’s Faster Cast Rate example: 100% is 9 frames and 105% is 8, at 25 frames per second. Other skills have other tables. Read the row for the skill you cast.
